Snoobli's
Beginning
Believe
it or not, this
whole thing began as an attempt to come up with a unique "How-To"
presentationfor a Public Speaking class at Webster University. Founder Antonio Felder, wanted to give a catchy
presentation that everyone would remember, so he and wife/co-founder, LaShonda Felder, brainstormed
to come up with a concept for a plush, personalized, educational book.
They spent long days and nights creating the best story concept, appliques, book structure, and written
presentation. Soon, both were pleased with their creation and eager to know what others thought of it,
so Antonio gathered his materials and headed off to make his presentation. Neither Antonio nor LaShonda
knew that knew that this would be a presentation that would eventually change their lives.
The presentation when over extremely well and the positive reaction from the other students and professor
provided the first source of encouragement. Soon after, Antonio and LaShonda found themselves discussing
the possibility of business ownership, a life long dream of Antonio's.
LaShonda, found this to be the perfect opportunity to express her crafty creative side while pursuing
her dream to be a children's book writer. Meanwhile, Antonio was there to build the foundation of
this idea with his depth of business knowledge and phenomenal organizational skills.
Needless to say, the couple decided to reach for their dreams and take this endeavor more seriously.
Over time, they have made several updates to the book's design and structure, also several other interactive
stories have been added to the Snoobli Book collection. There three sons: Gabriel, Jacob, and Caleb-
as well as, daughter-Jordan, provide a constant pool of inspiration.
Antonio and LsShonda's passion for wanting to create the ultimate personalized learning experience for
children has evolved into what is now called Snoobli.
Our Values
Here at Snoobli, we are committed to bringing joy to the lives of children through our fun, educational,
personalized plush books. While we like being silly, we take children's education, self confidence, and
happiness very seriously.
Although we enjoy bringing smile to the faces of children through traditional sales, we understand that
there may be some less fortunate children who may not normally have an opportunity to experience the
joy we have to offer. As a result, we have created the Snoobli Donation Program™ to reach out to
more children who deserve another reason to smile.
We currently donate to the Salvation Army, Bridgeway Behavioral Health, Youth in Need, Early Childhood Education Center-Troy, and God's Little Lambs Free Childcare- all of which are Non-Profit organizations. Still,
the giving doesn't have to stop there.
We are more than happy to expand the joy of Snoobli and you may sponsor book donations to any organization
that moves your heart.
In addition to the gift of our books we offer the gift of a cleaner earth and healthier lives for children
everywhere. Snoobli books are made from non-toxic materials and produced in a smoke/animal free
environment. The felt used to create Snoobli books is Eco-fi, which means that is lead-free and made
entirely from post -consumer recycled plastic bottles. Eco-fi felt is not only environmentally friendly, it is
also allergy and animal-cruelty-free.
Our Promise
We promise to do our best to enrich the lives of everyone we come in contact with.
We promise to always remember that there are many children less fortunate than our own and will continue to find creative ways to reach out to them.
We promise to encourage self-confidence and motivation in the children throughout our community and yours.
Lastly, we promise to put as much love, care, and patience in every book as we put in our very first one.
